Melissa Perez

We’re excited to introduce Melissa Perez, the founder and owner of Mortgage Maven Finance LLC. A dedicated professional in the mortgage industry since 2006, Melissa has a background in Accounting and Paralegal Studies and has held prestigious positions as Head of Underwriting and AVP of Credit and Client Services. In 2022, her passion for helping others led to a transition from corporate operations to becoming a mortgage broker.  Melissa is familiar with every aspect of mortgage loans, from application through securitization and capital markets. Fun fact: She is also holds a diploma carpentry and loves riding motorcycles.

The name “Maven” reflects Melissa’s extensive knowledge and expertise, making her an invaluable asset to clients. With a commitment to coaching, educating, and assisting clients in reaching their financial goals, she is “your favorite underwriter”.
